This Vine of the Sun Setting on Mars Is Insanely Beautiful

Who doesn't love a little Martian eye candy? NASA posted a Vine that shows what the (blue!) sunset looks like on Mars; it was created from stunning images captured by the Opportunity rover. On Earth, we see blue skies during the day with reddish sunsets, but on Mars, the opposite is true. That's because when the sun is setting there, the red dust filters out the red light, leaving a dark blue tint.

You'll want to watch the Vine over and over again, but if you're still craving more, check out NASA's detailed video of the scene. It's appropriately called I'm Dreaming of a Blue Sunset.
