You've Got to Watch Michael Phelps's Race Set to Super Mario Music

Update: Sadly, Retro SFX, who blessed us with the epic Michael Phelps-Super Mario mashup, received a notice from Facebook that their video was removed due to copyright infringement. See their Facebook post below detailing the warning.

Who knew the sounds of Super Mario are the perfect background music for Olympic swim races? Retro SFX blew our minds with a video of Michael Phelps competing in the same fashion as Mario and Luigi. You'll recognize the Nintendo sounds playing throughout the race, including his savage prerace game face to his well-deserved victory. The rising flag at the end after he takes his gold is just the cherry on top. People definitely love this mashup considering it has more than 3,000 reactions, 17,000 shares, and 700,000 views.
