The Geek-Couture Designs at This Comic-Con Fashion Show Were Insane

You can expect incredible and dazzling cosplay each year at San Diego's Comic-Con International — in fact, it's demanded. And though so much cosplay will leave you in awe, nothing might top the Her Universe and Hot Topic Fashion show that shows off geek couture in a whole new way.

In its third year running, the fashion show included 27 diehard geeks who showed off their fandom in the chicest way possible. The prize? Design a collection with Her Universe for Hot Topic, like two previous winners who created this amazing Star Wars line. This year's judges included a variety of geek experts, including POPSUGAR's Assistant Trending and Viral Features Editor Brinton Parker.

The designs were truly amazing and it was hard to see the judges pick a single winner — which is why it's lucky that viewers who watched the show on Comic-Con HQ voted for their own favorite (ultimately deciding a grand "Viewers' Choice" winner who will join the Judges' and Audience's Choice selections). The final winners are: Judge's Choice Winner, "Oh What a Gown. . .What a Lovely Gown!" by Hannah Kent; Audience Choice Winner "I Solemnly Swear That I'm Up to Couture" by Camille Falciola; and the Home Audience Winner, "Falkor" by Jesse Thaxton.

Pieces included a Wall-E design with recycled materials and a Severus Snape-inspired costume with individually wired lights that we wish we could include in our closets ASAP. See the creations ahead, and don't think twice if all you start thinking is "take my money."
