You Have to See What This Harry Potter-Loving Teacher Did For Her Students
When reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, one of the most magical moments for any first-time reader is being introduced to Hogwarts castle. From the self-propelled boats that transport first years over the moonlit lake to the ever-changing staircases in the castle, the enchanted castle is something of a main character in the series. Now, a special education teacher for sixth to eighth grade students has captured that magic for her class, transforming a modern-day schoolroom into an institution of witchcraft and wizardry.
Submitted to Reddit by her husband, these photos showcase the hard work and wild imagination that went into the teacher's labor of love. Worth it, right? Obviously passionate about both her job and Harry Potter, this teacher could give Professor McGonagall a run for her money . . . she transfigured the drab space into a castle straight out of JK Rowling's fantasy world. And the Potter-inspired fun doesn't stop at the decor, either. According to her husband, the educator plans to sort each student into a Hogwarts house once the class reaches that chapter of Sorcerer's Stone! That's it — where can we sign up to go back to school?
