The story, which is currently going viral on Imgur, was posted by user ehtnaerokyug, whose name is Sam. Read on to find out how his smartphone came back to him fully functional after hanging out under the sea.

. . . he fell into the water and the iPhone fell off his neck. While a worker at the kayak rental station tried to look for it, the phone didn't turn up. So, he used the Find My iPhone feature, though the chances of it coming back were slim.

He never expected to find it again, but he did.

Two months later, he received a notification that the phone was alive. He quickly decided to meet the person who found his phone and see what kind of state it was in.

The phone was still in the case that he brought it in. The case and phone were just hanging out by a rock near the bottom of the ocean, until they were found by someone scuba diving. While some users have called him out believing he’s just promoting the case and works for the company, Sam insists otherwise. Either way, if this story is true, it’s definitely incredible.
