These Photos of Obama's Inaugural Concert Next to Photos of Trump's Concert Will Amaze You

On Jan. 19, 2017, the inaugural concert in honor of Donald Trump was held in Washington DC. Unlike Obama's 2009 concert, Trump publicly struggled to find acts willing to perform at his concert, but ultimately Toby Keith, The Piano Guys, and 3 Doors Down agreed to perform.

A user on Twitter compared photos of the event (which according to BuzzFeed had 10,000 attendees) with photos of Obama's 2009 concert, which had an estimated 400,000 people in attendance.

The images of the two concerts next to each other show the reality of what the concert looked like, despite Trump stating that "thousands and thousands" of people attended and he wasn't aware of any other concerts in history that were held outside of the Lincoln Memorial. Both President Obama and President George W. Bush held concerts at that location.
