At last, iCloud [1] is going to play nice with Windows computers. At Apple's annual developer conference, WWDC 2014, the company announced iCloud Drive, a new online storage system that works like Dropbox and Google Drive.
Using organization tools you already love in Mac OS X Mavericks, like color-coded labels and tags, you can sort and organize files on the iCloud Drive server. This also means that your documents and photos are synced across Mac computers, iOS devices, and Windows computers. Apple typically doesn't play nice with Windows, except for iTunes, so this is a pretty big deal! Follow our coverage on Twitter [2] — lots more Apple coverage to come.
