Minecraft Fans Everywhere Will Flip For the Largest Minecraft Set Ever — The Village

We were pretty impressed with the 208-piece Lego Minecraft Iron Golem set we saw at Toy Fair earlier this year, but that's because we hadn't seen the 1,600-piece Minecraft — The Village set the company unveiled this week.

The set, based on the popular sandbox video game, comes with four minifigures — Steve, Alex, a zombie, and a zombie villager — as well as a Creeper, enderman, pig, baby pig, iron golem, a farmer, and a librarian. It's ripe with familiar Minecraft landscapes like a rainforest and snow and desert biomes and also includes a watchtower, library, blacksmith, butcher, and marketplace.

The $199 set, which will be available on June 1, is the most massive Minecraft version yet — so big that it brings the virtual game to life for gamers of all ages. Read on for a closer look at the set, and keep your eye out for details like the pumpkin heads, the emerald-ore-style elements, and the emerald chest.
