One of the best moments of the Oscars didn't even happen during the show. On April 25, during one of the show's commercial breaks, Google's powerful "A CODA Story" ad aired — sending myself and many other viewers into an emotional state that only the best short films can do. The clip features Tony, a "CODA" or "child of deaf adults," who uses Google's accessible technology like live captions and video calls to communicate with his parents. As a father himself, Tony is now able to provide special virtual experiences between his own child and their grandparents. Watch the beautiful tale play out in the video above.
