The 1 Emoji That Sums Up the Silicon Valley Cast

Most of us have an emoji that we consider our spirit animal. (If you don't know what yours is, take this quiz ASAP.) Since it seemed appropriate, we shot the question to the Silicon Valley cast members, currently starring in season two. Turns out, there's one that pretty much sums up their souls — both on and off screen.

"I know there's one that's a pile of sh*t, right?" said Martin Starr, who plays Gilfoyle. "The poo one — that's definitely mine. Because he's smiling." Same for Kumail Nanjiani, aka Dinesh ("I think that's very profound. We're all pieces of sh*t, but some of us are smiling"), and for Thomas Middleditch, who you know as Richard.

We didn't interview T.J. Miller (Erlich), but the only one who had a different answer was Zach Woods (Jared). "Is there one who looks slightly distracted and a little sad? One reading a book and not paying attention to the book because he's being too hard on himself?"

No, Zach, there isn't. You'll have to settle for the pile of poo, too.
