All season long we'll be sharing the wish lists of our favorite tech influencers, from CEOs to trailblazing geek girls. Kicking things off is Pebble smartwatch CEO and founder, Eric Migicovsky. Not sure what the Pebble is? It's an e-paper smartwatch that broke Kickstarter records by raising over $10 million, which, at the time, was the most money a crowdfunding campaign had ever raised. The watch ($99 for Pebble, $199 for Pebble Steel) connects with both iPhones and Android smartphones via Bluetooth and displays notifications (texts, emails, etc.), as well as a variety of other information. Many apps — including RunKeeper, GoPro, the Weather Channel, and more — have a special interface designed just for the Pebble watch. You can even order pizza with it.

Since Pebble's Kickstarter campaign ended in 2012, the wearable tech industry has exploded. Apple and Google entered the smartwatch race soon after with their own options, but Pebble was the watch that started it all. In fact, we think that the Pebble still dominates in terms of battery life (seven days) and multiplatform compatibility. As a smartwatch pioneer, Eric definitely knows a thing or two about the next big thing in tech. Check out his fun picks, which will please both gadget fiends and not-so-tech-savvy friends! "Nest ($249) is a supereasy way to control your home's thermostat and smoke alarm from your phone. Another awesome feature is that you can also control the thermostat through the Leaf Pebble app on your Pebble or Pebble Steel. Temperature control has never been easier!"

"My new phone! The Sony Z3 Compact ($530) is small, lightweight, and water-resistant. I don't like the trend toward larger phones (I have a laptop for that stuff!) and love the Z3C's true all-day (18+ hours of heavy usage) battery!"

"Chromecast ($35) is perhaps the easiest way to stream shows from Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube to your television."

"Dropcam ($149) is a superuseful and completely hassle-free camera that we use to monitor the office during the evenings and weekends."

"Moment Lenses ($100 each) are wonderful, high-quality fish-eye lenses for smartphones. Perfect to use with the new Instagram app Hyperlapse."

"Ototo ($75) is an awesome gift for kids! Ototo allows you to turn anything into a musical instrument."

"Joos ($149) is a simple way to power up devices while at the beach or camping."
