Waste Your Time With a Fun New Tool That Guesses Your Emotions

Have you ever made a reaction face and yet no one knew what you felt? Well, now you can just point someone in the direction of Microsoft's newest website to recognize emotions.

As part of Microsoft's Project Oxford, the "Emotion Recognition" tool tries to figure out what you're feeling based on a photo of your face. Currently, it can only recognize the feelings anger, contempt, fear, disgust, happiness, neutral, sadness, or surprise.

It's not the last time we'll see Microsoft dabbling in products that use machine learning. By gathering all this data, more precise choices can be made in apps or services like Siri or Cortana. It may not always be accurate — as we learned with the "How Old" robot. But, it's still fun to try and see what it's trying to guess about you . . . or famous sports players as some Twitter users did.

To use it, just head to the website and either upload a photo or drop in a link. Once it's in, hover your mouse over the blue square and see what emotions it guessed. You're most definitely going to end up with some hilarious results.
