How the Doctor Who Fandom Reacted to Matt Smith's Terminator Casting

Strange things were afoot on Twitter and Tumblr on Thursday night when Matt Smith's sister sent a tweet implying the former Doctor Who star had some big news to come. The fandom got a little excited speculating what the Doctor was up to (a late addition to the Star Wars cast?), and today we learned he's signed on to the new Terminator film in a "major" role.
The details of Matt's role are still a mystery, but fans are pretty thrilled to hear he'll be an addition to this huge sci-fi franchise. Naturally, fez, bow tie, and hyperventilating status updates were next . . .
