I have a love-hate relationship with brain teasers. On one hand, I never shy away from a challenge, always ready to put my noggin to the test. But on the other, most viral puzzles or riddles tend to be really f*cking tricky and usually result in me starting at my computer screen for minutes on end as I stubbornly attempt to solve them without looking at the answer. I pretty much look a little something like this the whole time, in case you were wondering:
But alas, my brain teaser obsession is still going strong (along with my ever-growing forehead wrinkles), which is why I'm here to present all other puzzle fanatics with a challenge that'll really get you thinking. Instagram user The Power of Enjoyment regularly shares brain teasers with their followers, and this one's sure to throw you for a loop.
When I first came across this on Instagram, my train of thought went a little something like this: "Hmm, 4 + 3 = 7, so maybe I can just also add 3 to 7, but oh, wait, that equals 10 and not 13, so WTF is the secret here?! How do all of these numbers relate to each other, and more importantly, what's the darn answer?" I unfortunately didn't figure it out on my own and needed the trusty solution video below to clue me in. Can you figure this one out without taking a look at the answer?
