In what felt like one of Microsoft's biggest events to date, the company released two new smartphones: the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL. Both are impressive and will directly compete with Google [1]'s and Apple's new releases [2] as well. Details for both phones are below.

Here's what you can expect from the Lumia 950 [3].

• Incredible camera: 20 megapixel rear-facing camera, 5 megapixel front-facing camera
• Amazing flash: Triple LED flash so you look less pale in photos
• Different USB component: USB Type-C for faster charging
• Price: $549

The Lumia 950 XL [4] is just as impressive.

• Display size: 5.7 inches
• Processor: Snapdragon 810
• Storage options: 32 GB
• Similar camera to the 950: 20 megapixel rear-facing camera, 5 megapixel front-facing camera
• Support for new features: Will also use USB Type-C
• Price: $649

Both phones will also support Continuum, one of the biggest features from Windows 10 on mobile, where you can turn any Windows phone into a running computer. You can also easily plug it into the Microsoft Display Dock, which has an HDMI display port and three USB ports for usage. Each phone will also have Microsoft's glance screen technology, which shows how many text messages and emails you have as well as other notifications without turning on your phone and using zero battery life.
