The iPhone's handy flashlight can only do so much in a dimly lit restaurant, so what you really need is a magnifying glass. Well, drumroll, please . . . there's one hiding right on your phone! Twitter user geo_jones_ recently brought this underrated iPhone feature to our attention, writing, "I was today years old when I found out there was a magnifier glass on the iPhone." For all the times you've squinted to read tiny instructions or missed delicious side dishes hiding on the bottom of a menu, the Magnifier is here to save you, and it zooms in a lot further than your camera. To turn on the function, go to Settings, General, Accessibility, and Magnifier, and toggle it to "on." Voila! You can also add the tool to your Control Center for easy access.

According to CNBC, if you have an iPhone X or later version, triple tap the button on the right-hand side of your phone to use the tool. If you have an iPhone with a Home button, tap it three times to access the magnifying glass.
