A Teen's Selfie Looks Normal Until You Take a Closer Look

Feb 5 2018 - 8:45am

Update: The original Facebook post with the photo has been removed.

Original story: Selfies are pretty harmless — that is until a ghost photobombs your photo and sends the internet into a meltdown. A teen's recent selfie looks seemingly normal, until you notice a man who doesn't look like he belongs there at all. According to the family, he doesn't.

The photo, posted to Facebook on Feb. 25 by Jessica Ogletree, also includes the story behind it. Ogletree mentions the photo is of her 13-year-old daughter and was taken near a fishing area in Tifton, GA. The daughter is smiling, and her brother is in the background. Move your eye to the right and you'll see it: a gentleman wearing a cap, smiling, and blending in with the background. Ogletree makes it clear that this man was not part of her group — nor was he in the same area as them. See the entire post below.

The internet's pretty freaked out over the photo, considering the post has more than 3,000 comments and 6,000 reactions and shares. Most of the comments are people who believe the ghost is real. Of course, others think someone photoshopped the photo to include the man in the cap. One commenter even pointed out seeing other ghosts [1] in the same photo.

Whatever you believe, you have to admit this photo is pretty creepy.
